    At Grandpa’s Baekry, every cookie, cake, and treat is freshly baked in small batches with care. Because our products are perishable food items, our Return & Refund Policy is designed with food safety and quality in mind. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

    1. No Returns on Baked Goods

    Due to the perishable and food-safety-sensitive nature of our products, we do not accept returns on any baked goods once they have been delivered. This applies to all products including cookies, cakes, cookie tins, and gift boxes, regardless of whether the packaging has been opened.

    2. When You're Eligible for a Replacement or Refund

    We stand behind the quality of everything we bake. You may be eligible for a replacement or refund in the following situations:

    • You received the wrong product (different from what you ordered)
    • Your order arrived damaged during transit
    • Your product arrived spoiled, stale, or not fresh upon delivery
    • Your order was incomplete (missing items from what you paid for)
    • Your order did not arrive despite confirmed delivery timelines, with no valid reason communicated

    3. How to Request a Replacement or Refund

    To request a replacement or refund, please contact us within 2 hours of receiving your order:

    When reaching out, please include:

    1. Your order number
    2. A clear photo of the product received (showing the issue — damage, wrong item, etc.)
    3. A brief description of the issue

    Requests submitted after the 2 Hour window, or without photographic evidence, may not be eligible for a replacement or refund.

    4. What Happens Next

    • Our team will review your request within 24 hours of receiving it.
    • If approved, we will offer either:
      • A free replacement of the affected item(s), delivered as soon as possible, or
      • A refund to your original payment method
    • Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 07 business days, though the amount may take additional time to reflect depending on your bank or payment provider.

    5. Order Cancellations

    • Orders can be cancelled within 2 hours of placement by contacting us directly.
    • Since many of our products are freshly prepared to order, we may be unable to cancel an order once baking has begun.
    • If we are unable to fulfill your order for any reason (e.g., product unavailability), we will notify you and issue a full refund.

    6. Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Situations

    We are unable to offer a replacement or refund in the following cases:

    • Change of mind after the order has been placed or delivered
    • Incorrect delivery address provided by the customer at checkout
    • Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., courier delays, weather, force majeure)
    • Products that were improperly stored after delivery (e.g., left in heat, humidity, or direct sunlight) leading to spoilage
    • Minor variations in appearance, shape, or size due to the handmade nature of our products (this is not considered a defect)
    • Allergic reactions where allergen information was available on the product page prior to purchase

    7. Damaged Packaging on Delivery

    If your order arrives with visibly damaged or tampered packaging, please:

    1. Do not accept the delivery if possible, or
    2. If already accepted, take photos immediately and contact us within 2 Hours with the evidence

    This helps us investigate with our delivery partners and process your claim faster.

    8. Gift Orders

    If you’re sending a Grandpa’s Baekry order as a gift, please ensure the delivery address and recipient contact details are accurate at checkout. We are not responsible for issues arising from incorrect information provided at the time of order.
